Welcome grade 3-12 students and teachers to the 2017 Student Contest Entry Portal, where you can submit your entries for the 2017 Contest. Please be sure to read through the requirements below, then click on the appropriate button at the bottom of the page to begin filling out your registration form and uploading your entry/entries. Who is Eligible to Participate?

The contest is open to all Connecticut students in Kindergarten through Grade 12, as well as college students, enrolled in a two or four year college or university in Connecticut. Teachers who have used and evaluated the eesmarts lesson materials are especially encouraged to have their students participate, though this is not a requirement.

What is the Deadline for Entries?

Entries and registration forms must be postmarked or submitted online no later than
Saturday, Apr. 29, 2017, 11:59 pm.

What is Required for Each Entry?

All entries submitted through this website must be a Word Document or a PDF file. The maximum file size is 5MB per upload.

Each entry must have the following information typed or neatly printed at the top, left-hand corner of each page (or on the back of poster entries for Kindergarten - Grade 2):

  • Student Name
  • Grade
  • School
  • Town
  • Educator's Name
  • Educator's Email Address
  • School Telephone
